Colcock Hall<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The MUSC Colcock Hall houses the offices of the president and provost, along with other central administrative offices, for the Medical University of South Carolina.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This Greek-revival building was built in 1861-62 and subsequently used as a facility for manufacturing small arms and cannon repair. \u00a0After being acquired by MUSC, it became the home of the College of Dental Medicine. Later, this building would also incorporate the Waring Library collection and archives until its renovation in 2006.\u00a0 It was during that renovation, that the building became home to central administrative offices of MUSC. \u00a0Additionally, Colcock Hall is the meeting site for the MUSC Board of Trustees, and a venue for other events celebrating special achievements by students, faculty, and staff.<\/p>\n

This building is located in the northeast part of the MUSC campus, and sits closely to St. Luke’s Chapel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
