The MUSC Harper Student Center houses several essential student services and resources. The Center for Global Health, the Office of Enrollment Management, and the Office of Student Engagement call the Harper Student Center home.

The center also provides students with study and lounge space and is commonly a host venue for social events.

The Office of Student Engagement at The Harper Student Center

The Office of Student Engagement is committed to cultivating a diverse, inclusive, and supportive campus environment – by offering opportunities for students to meaningfully engage with each other and the community around them.

Through programs, services, and partnerships across the Medical University of South Carolina, the Office of Student Engagement:

Enhances the quality of campus life and assists students in their personal, cultural, and professional development.
Engages students to find student organizations, affinity groups, and service opportunities to get involved on campus.
Houses the MUSC Student Government Association (SGA). With representation from all six colleges, SGA advocates on behalf of the student body and hosts many events throughout the year.
Provides housing resources, leadership development, and more.
