Ashley River Tower
The Ashley River Tower serves a variety of patient care specialties including digestive health, heart and vascular care, and cancer care.
First opening in 2008, the tower reflects MUSC’s commitment to its patients and their families. Amenities include private rooms as well as concierge service, valet parking, dedicated family lounges, wireless capabilities, retail shops and convenient dining.
With nearly 800 licensed beds, the tower includes the following departments and centers:
- The Digestive Disease Center
- The Heart and Vascular Center
- An Emergency Department
The MUSC Health Digestive Disease Center
Located in the tower is the MUSC Health Digestive Disease Center. With an established team of expert doctors, nurses and healthcare providers, they are dedicated to delivering long-term care to patients with digestive disorders such as:
- Diseases of the esophagus
- General motility disorders
- Liver disease
- Pancreatic and biliary diseases
- Nutritional disorders
- Conditions related to the anus, rectum and colon
