Located centrally on campus, the Center for Telehealth supports and administers a broad array of telehealth services for the Medical University of South Carolina. It is also a resource to educate providers, patients, students and other stakeholders about telehealth, or virtual care visits.
This state-of-the-art center is equipped with resources for telehealth education, training and simulation and most importantly, telehealth care delivery. It is a hub for innovation where MUSC team members create new workflows and apps to support patients in new ways. The Center for Telehealth is proud to be recognized as a National Telehealth Center of Excellence (COE) by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The Center of Excellence designation is a collaborative effort between MUSC, HRSA, and other centers for telehealth across the United States. It is designed to fill important gaps in the national telehealth landscape and proactively disseminate telehealth resources.
