The MUSC Office of Interprofessional Initiatives
The MUSC Office of Interprofessional Initiatives is responsible for creating and implementing programs focused on interprofessional teamwork to improve patient outcomes, enrich educational experiences, and enhance research collaboration.
MUSC students participate in a wide variety of interprofessional teamwork experiences including Interprofessional Day, required and elective coursework, student organizations, the Presidential Scholars program, the Interprofessional Education Fellowship, teamwork simulations, student-run free Community Aid Relief, Education and Support (CARES) clinics, and other co-curricular activities and events.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness supports MUSC’s commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous quality improvement by ensuring that all academic programs, research support units, student support services, administrative units, and community service programs engage in best practices for outcomes assessment.
